Born and raised in New York City to wonderful parents who had to put up with my growing up years. Not that I was a bad kid , but I was a lousy student who was only interested in the arts and sports….
It took awhile, but I finally found my footing when I matriculated and graduated from Parsons School of Design the New School .
There I thrived . I was finally happy.
After some years of working for various designers and architects I formed my own atelier doing interiors, architecture and furniture design…
My big win was designing for and eventually becoming the design director for Brueton Industries who specialized in stainless steel furniture , and within a few years I introduced case pieces and an upholstery line which put them on the map.
After many years in business I gave up a successful and an Award winning much published business to concentrate solely on product design and mainly furniture , lighting , rugs, etc., and still maintained my directorship with Brueton.
After Brueton phasing out I began designing for several American and overseas manufacturers .
I believe after many years designing product I find myself more inspired and doing my best work , still winning awards and enjoying the process more than when I was in my twenties !
There is nothing like the thrill of seeing your very own designs come to life !
